    You're still going to get in trouble here. The intent is to know the actual result of each move, it isn't equal for all the moves. Do this on the course in practice. Just find a fairway and punch back and forth. It's easy to learn the yardages. 

    The idea of the move with a wedge is basically counting backwards 2 or 3 moves, knowing the change at each move. More than that and you should consider a different shot or club or know what to expect.. You get in trouble when you expect the math to be exact like you're trying to do.

    I've been practicing since my posts. I've been doing first avatar movement from the top and some of them have been spot on accurate and others not so much. I took my known distances for each club and calculated 90% of that power.

    Back to the range to work on my short game.

    I'd loved to know which wedge setup you like more from an above post.

    Sorry I didn't check ur level and clubs before posting this, but I have the best clevelands, 56º = 100 yards, 60º= 80 yards and 64º= 60 yards.

    For 30 yards I can spot it ( within 3 feet or less ) everytime playing a full shot and hitting 60% power. Obviously you have to take into account wind elevation and slope on green, but those will be minor adjustments for such a short shot.

    Equally good is the 29 yard flop with the 60º wedge, adding back or top spin depending on the situation.

    As YJ says the ratio of power to distance is not linear, e.g 75% power on my 64º will give me 40 yards and the punch gives me 50.

    So 20 yards = flop

          30 yards  = 60% full shot

          40 yards = 75% full shot

          50 yards = punch

          60 yards = full shot 100%

    I went ahead and bought the 75 yard cleveland wedge. It came in handy as the flop for it is 25 yards so that is going to help alot.

    I struggled with the 30yd shot aswell until i got the 50yd wedge. The punch is 41 yds so 75% punch seems to go about 30yds (half backspin). I don't find flopping from over 25 yds to be very reliable. As icon previously stated, if u can't reach the green try to lay up for a yardage you are more comfortable with.

    Defianately this is my favourite , i will never change it is perfect for my game , the level 60 pings are super wedges they take a little time to get used to , as any spin you apply will decrease the distance of the shot , but these wedges stop dead with no spin and actually travel the distance stated ,  this comes in handy when you know the clubs ,along with the 60 clevland your on your way to the wedges that will see you out on WGT for the rest of your days , highly recomended .
