I posted a question in this section a week or so ago and got some great answers - I adopted a mix of them and will adjust according to how the system works. Basically I have taken the average scores from the players (last 10 ranked rounds) and used a base score of 70. Then the players get .75 of their average score as the handicap.

For example if a player averages 71 he will have a net handicap of .75 deducted from their actual score. If the player averages under 70 the handicap is added to the actual score. I was originally going to add a half a shot to the handicap for each tier increase, but the results from our first effort proves that this can work for all the tiers if you play close or better than your average.

Still work in progress but the turnout was better and needs to be updated after each tournament. Food for thought and have a look for the thread.

I am an owner as well and have voiced my opinion about this in another thread as well. Would love to see the option to restrict the CC tournaments by tier. We have tournaments through out the year with specific tiers. However, running a club with over 200 members is really hard to keep up with each tournament. We run almost all the slots for CC tournaments mostly all the time. I have even sent a message about this to WGT but never received a response about, guess they are too busy trying to see what else they can do to make more money. I have removed many players since taking over the club for not following the rules of the club and some members just quit because of the messages I sent them about playing in tournaments labeled for certain tiers. I do put the name of the tournament in the title and still get members playing, not as many though...

I own the Old Yankee CC and would never limit who plays any tournaments and encourage members to create their own.

    ----------

    6 months after...

    Members frustration still persist....

Since no new tool available from WGT yet to control tier entry in CC tourney.

We had no other choice than to bring  our own tourney police squad.  Kind of sad that  we need to take action like this witch is very time consuming instead of playing the game.

At least she is not to severe looking. lol

This does need sorting soon. You can never please everyone however you set your tournaments but this would allow the lower tiers to see themselves at the top of the leader-board on occasions which is understandably important to them.
