a player quits after 4 holes..........then wins with a low
score because he quit............doesn't seem quite right does it ?

if it's a game message, then likely an error and person did not actually win. you can verify so by checking their profile, where you will not see the same score.
if it happens again, please right click on the game window and submit a detailed bug report.
