  I'm sorry guys - but if you look at last months TL open this appears to be a response to the lack of activity for this event.  Last months tourney paid out 52,500CR to the top 3 - but only took in 11,000CR in entry fees (October was even worse with 7500CR in entry fees).  I don't think any of us could justify them continuing at the same level if they are losing $400 (even virtual $) on an event like this.

  So they took in $1100 dollars of real money, and paid out fake money, sounds like a pretty sound business model to me. Almost as good as selling insurance. :)

  $110.00 is 11,000CR Steve.  And I'm guessing that none of the players that entered this tourney at the TL level contributed any money of their own to the cause.

   I'd be willing willing to bet that they took in a hell of a lot closer to $0 than $1100 in real money. Most of the guys that enter these probably have their hands nowhere near a wallet. Sure, at one time that 500 cr was somebody's cash deposit, but a lot of top players haven't used their own money for a long, long time.

  You can´t base the $ on the leaderboard, if you WD you wont show up on the leaderboard, so it can basicly be 20 other guys that have entered and since they could not shoot a score to be in top three, WD

   

   

  and im pretty sure that the rules and regulations in Sweden has not been changed, as for 150 other countries too

  this is all part of a wgt plan to make us not be able to win anything from this game,

  see the changes to elite collection thread, seems we wont be able to exchange for gift cards in 2013, hmm what else we had no open this year, the sensitive subject of random sweep winners

  No 2k,1k RG's

  lower prizes for monthly's 

  no winter tour

  this all bottles down to the fact that they aint making the money they once wer, and instead of tackling the problem they choose to make a quick fix by lowering any payouts they have to make in prizes and gift cards

  Funny not  a wgt response yet. Seems they hand pick the ones they reply to instead of the ones people want real answers to. And good point on the withdraws i enter 500 every month and withdraw lmao.
