I'm sorry guys - but if you look at last months TL open this appears to be a response to the lack of activity for this event. Last months tourney paid out 52,500CR to the top 3 - but only took in 11,000CR in entry fees (October was even worse with 7500CR in entry fees). I don't think any of us could justify them continuing at the same level if they are losing $400 (even virtual $) on an event like this.
Also, it appears that this was done across all tiers - and the percentages have remained the same in relation to the cost: 500/200 entry feels (40%) vs 20,000/8,000CR winner (40%). This really just looks like a way to increase activity in these tourneys overall.
Kriztjan - totally agree with the fact that I don't like them limiting the winners to certain countries. I understand legally with certain states/countries and REAL cash prizes - but with virtual credits I don't think this should be an issue.
