    DoctorEagle:
you're forgetting about all the additional lost nike's/callaways from L88-L94 players using the unforgiving R11 88... as well as the many bottles of xp boosts needed.

Maybe for some.  Personally at L91 I won't be putting in extra time or XP boosting for way off L94,  As much as the, let's face it geriatric, R11 annoy's any one I speak to won't be either...........Not far in to L91 means  L94 is up to a year away for me. L98 is over 3 year's away...............If that's the right balance to some great! I think it nuts when it comes to TLs at least! I could sit on the computer for longer but I care way more about my RL golf swing! Only in the land of zero competition could a Pro Shop be so lazy to get away with so little in the way of option's for that long..............

Everything look's geared to growth today who care's about next week. Rule of thumb suggests L/TL upper type level's are the way fewer and genuine who just want to play well in a challenging environment.  Revenue wise TM L78 down is where the bulk revenue is non consumable wise at least, hence the plethora of choices down there......I don't know why they bother selling new iron set's when they have made it a drive and putt game LOL (I am joking but a point there to)................A good craftsmen would also want a well rounded product (talking lack of upper level driver option's) but as this is not the case it's hard to be complimentary ............................For the latter reason the approach is very short sighted!

Yep... maybe just the 5% boost once in awhile.

LoL, they definitely have the market cornered, you'd think they'd want to make a sale between L88 & L94 though.

Obviously it's easier to putt if your avg distance to the pin is 2 ft. in but I hear ya loud and clear. :)

A more forgiving & longer driver leads to easier hitting the fairway w/ distance... leads to easier approaches... leads to easier putts. And with all the great new options above and below us, it's going to be a lot tougher to compete for those of us below the R11s that hit from the tips.

Murphy's law says that next year just after we hit L94 they'll bust out w/ a sweet L90 or L92 driver :'(
