Stopping power? The big differences are the extra forgiveness and being easier to ding. The R11 meter speeded up right at the end making harder to ding that it should be. With the R11s the meter speed is constant and much easier to ding.

To be honest if there was a big performance difference it might be something to complain about but it's basically identical to the R11 driver.

i find it a superior club in all ways

And that's exactly what I've always heard and read on here. The best driver, bar none.

The R11s is a great driver but if you already have the original R11 then don't expect it to be massively better if you want to upgrade because there isn't that much difference between the 2. The only difference i can see is if you use backspin with a tailwind then it goes on for miles. As far as accuracy is concerned i can't tell the difference.

I had the rll before going to the rlls and the only difference it made for me was going from hitting 78 percent of the fairways to hitting 90 percent. Worth it to me.

The R11s is worth upgrading from the R11, it has a slightly lower trajectory which allows it to cut through the wind on long drives.

The extra forgiveness is like having a wider ding zone.
Missing the ding by 1 - 2 mm on either side doesn't affect its course.
For this reason alone, its worth the upgrade.

Far less drives off the fairway.

    I wouldn't go back to the R11.

The extra 2 yards stated in the stats, over the R11, is the result of having the lower trajectory.

When the dreaded jump to Legend comes, I won't be changing my G20 driver for the R11. I don't believe the extra couple of yards will compensate me for the number of times I will miss the fairway, due to the faster meter. Having said that, If the R11S was available soon, I would definitely try to adapt to it. Level 94 won't be for yonks, so there's nowt I can do.

The forgiveness of the R11s is by far , a lot better than the R11. I rarely miss the fairway since I upgraded to the R11s.

It is definately worth the upgrade.

I got my R11S at level 90, after I bought it there was another one for level 94. It's exactly the same as level 90 so I'm not going to waste my credits on the level 94. Then you have to wait another 6 levels before you can get the R11S fairway wood and that my friend will take you about 3 years before you get to that level.

This was a very bad move by WGT. Most who purchased this driver got it at lvl 90. Then they moved it to lvl 94 which is a years worth of play away. Very unfair when many of us were just a week or two from being able to puchase. Please WGT move this club back to the original level to be fair to all.
