  I have spent half of my time at WGT throwing balls I don't want into lakes or OOB... Now another, spent a few games to get rid of the annoying boost once... and I get another as gift.....

  Why would anyone pay for this feature? A free club rental for the holidays would have been so much better of a gift from WGT...

  You can turn it off.

  Tried to turn it off by going to options and ticking no boost, saved and it was still there. It is like being given a gaudy sweater for Christmas. You hide it in a cupboard but it turns up in every drawer or cupboard that you open.

  Try it again, There are two settings, the 2nd line click none and the third line click No, and save.

  What an harassment, I had turned off the speed boosts after they were thrown at us the first time, and now even the settings were overwritten. What a useless "gift" - one does not really save time, but does not see anymore how the ball behaves.

  I consider quitting my country club during these country club gang bangs, and hope to be accepted once the harassment is over, just to not get no useless crap anymore. I shot about 10 free balls into the water CCC 10, but it just takes too long to get rid of the nearly 300 speed boosts, as one has to restart the hole whenever maximum shots are reached.

  Gift in German means poison, Postbtw. In this case, I take gift as a German language word.

  The boost scared the living daylights outa me.

  On the Tee paying my first shot of the day. Hit the ball and it took off like a bat out of hell. Was thinking at the time..... geez, what the....

  Bloody Boost......lol

  LOL  it's fun to gift it to a buddy when you know his next shot will be a putt. ;-)

   

  Well, that worked back before so many of us got boosts from the Clash thingy.  Now most have it and can/have turned it off.

   

  But when you have none, it defaults to on IIRC.  That's when you can get someone. hehehe
