Finished yet another close game and came out 1Up for Bridgestone :).

    CCvsCC_zps644c7213

It was close throughout and a good game which, importantly, we both enjoyed.

We started off with pars before I managed to sink my birdie putt on the next while Pete's attempt from just off the green was unlucky to hit the flagstick and jump back out. The next two holes were shared in pars before I managed to go 2Up on the par 3 14th, a shot Pete gained back immediately at the 15th with a nice birdie. The 16th was shared with a couple of birdies and the 17th with a brace of pars. We both hit what were arguably our best approaches of the game on the 18th, to 6ft or so, before we both, almost fittingly given some of the quality of play, missed our birdie putts and tied the hole with pars.

Once again, thanks for the game Pete, and thanks to Cosa Nostra and Steve for the opportunity to play.

    Jack.

After being 2 up with 3 to go, Ladzrls played an awesome last 3 and took me down. Give this on to Cosa Nostra. Great job Stephen.

Well played Kovach,   I could have used a bit of warm up time. You being 7 hours ahead of me made it tough to be on at the same time,  kind of  happy its finally over.  ;-)

Pleasurable round, would play again anytime with ya,   if we are ever on at the same time again lol.

As the above post points out...it's over, with Bridgestone walking away with the win by a wide margin.....Congratulations to the winners and a big thanks to your tournament leader Stevereilly for organizing and running the contest.  We at Cosa Nostra have had nothing but good experiences from all opponents.
