    You're on the right track. Don't expect to see that type pf flight every time but the end result is all that counts.

    Try aiming against the wind and then missing with it. You can get some nice yardage that way. Get the ball flying with the wind.

    Depending on the strength and direction of the wind, anywhere up to the first line past (or before) the ding. It's not a good habit to get into because you can get in a lot of trouble but with a little practice you'll know when it will work.

    A particular situation I frequently take advantage of is on strong crosswinds, without touching the default aim, missing the swing to the first line against the wind will straighten a 20 mph wind out. You lose a little distance but you're dead center in the fairway.  :-)
