    RemBeau:

I look at your equipment Senec, there is not much to add to slow the meter , except the max ball that is too pricy.

But sometimes there is something else that have an impact on speed of the meter & cost nothing. Is to  choose the right browser to play the game.

I have never heard that the browser had an effect on meter speed.I'm with Maxtron.

If it does then that would explain the 27's and the 53's.

Does Different Browsers produce different meter speeds?

The Maxthon browser seems to slow the meter a bit,  very smooth and not effected by the WGT updates.  I have played it  for over 8 months now, love it.

    courteneyfish:

Try a few practice rounds with the starter balls. After that everything seems slow.

this is very good advice, when i think things are going fast i go back to the free balls, and like courteney says, things will seem much slower with your usual balls.

Thanks for the advice guys, once I manage to get the new clubs I will give the GI2-S / GI3-S balls a chance first (and by the time I get to the level to buy them, I should have enough credits to buy a joblot of balls too).

Now if only there were a ball to replace the lost forgiveness :)

Read a post today by someone saying the meter had speeded up lately on the max balls and quite a few people agreed...Seems to have disapeared for some reason.I ran out and now I'm hesitating on spending 600 credits if the meter is not the same.

I tought I had finally found the perfect ball for me.

    DESAPOINTED!!!!

That sounds like my post senec ... It's in the Bug Log Section.

They have sped up for sure.  Was using Nikes before the change and that got too fast, so the Max Balls were great (still are actually) , and because the meter was slow to start off with, the change in speed was ok.

I like to slightly miss the ding on certain shots, and the Max's were perfect for stopping the meter where I want it.  I just need a faster trigger finger now....lol

    Very Frustrating

Bought a sleeve this morning, tried them out on best of par three's.

It's not quite as easy to ding where you want to anymore.

Still a good ball but now I feel that it's too expensive.

I never blame wgt on the forum, but this time, and for the first time I have to say....

Nah I won't say it,I don't want to be one of those...

Hey if you  look back earlier in this post I mentioned that I was thinking of selling my R 11 and going back to the easier G 20's.

    Hummm...

Ding the meter and forgiveness or lack there of is a mute point. Forgiveness only comes into play if you miss the ding. Precision is paramount if you hit the ding or come close to the ding more often than not. The Raptures and K-15's have great forgiveness but they have very little precision. And as you progress to the higher tiers their lack of distance and precision hurt you more than the extra forgiveness over comes.

It may not be that the meter speed has increased but that after a few weeks that they have come more used to the speed and now it seems faster. If that happens to me i play a few CTTH rounds with a faster ball and when I go back to My Nikes the meter seems to crawl. It is all perception.
