I currently have the level 36 K15 iron set and will be taking the plunge and getting the level 83 Ping G20s in a few weeks time, but I will be losing some forgiveness as well as getting an increase in meter speed.

So with the above points in mind, which ball will be best to slow the meter speed back to K15 speed (or preferable slower)?

I have always used the B-ES balls, so no other attributes that the balls give are of importance except for meter speed, so which would suit me the best.

Any help would be very much appreciated.

If your only requirement is a slow meter then the Max Slow Meter balls at 600 credits a sleeve are for you.

If finances aren't up to that, then the Calloway i(s) are popular and an all round decent ball that slows the meter a bit, which at 'only' 250 a sleeve aren't going to break the bank (too quickly).

i think you want to find balls that have dots in the feel category. Believe i read somewhere that feel is what slows the meter.

Just checked the max slow meter balls and they have 5/5 on feel.

The GI2-S balls will give you a G20 meter speed similar to the K15s with the B-ES.  They're 64 credits for 3 balls.  I believe the feel dots are inaccurate - they seem to give the same meter speed as the 2.5 dot Callaways, and a slower speed than the 2 dot Srixons and WGT Legends.  If those don't cut it for you, The GI3-S takes a little more speed off for a little more money.

Anything better will cost quite a bit more, but will give you extra spin and distance.

Max slow meter(pro)600 credits. There is no slower meter.Just wish they were white, and less expensive.

I was thinking of selling my R 11 irons and go back to the G 20,until I tried these balls.

I look at your equipment Senec, there is not much to add to slow the meter , except the max ball that is too pricy.

But sometimes there is something else that have an impact on speed of the meter & cost nothing. Is to  choose the right browser to play the game.

Try a few practice rounds with the starter balls. After that everything seems slow.

Does Different Browsers produce different meter speeds?

Was in the same boat as you not too long ago, using the 2010 Raptures and saving for the G20's... only concern was the faster meter and reduced forgiveness. Purchased the level 58 G20's about a month ago and have used a handful of balls but have found that any ball with 2 full dots of feel is adequate to slow the meter enough for decent accuracy.

I use mainly the Srixon Z-Star at 180 credits or the WGT GI2-S at 64 credits.

I'll sometimes do a practice round just to make notes on a course using the starter balls and still do alright with the meter.
