Someone posting (page 29 or 30) that one of the best way to gain expierience and become better was to play more difficult courses.  Could someone please rank our courses from easy to hard.  And thanks!

Noticed that there are over 400 pages of post going back to 2008.  What was the birthday of WGT?

The difficulty of courses changes as you go up the tiers, and of course one persons easy course is another's hard course but in the early tiers in general as follows, from easy to hard.

St Andrews - Royal St George - Kiawah - Congressional - Oakmont - Olympic - Bethpage.

But, it really is a case of horses for courses.

The two O's are the toughest to learn. To start I would say St A's and Kiawah seem the easiest.

In my opinion, from easiest to hardest are:

St. Andrew's, Kiawah, Bethpage Black, Royal St. George's, Congressional, Oakmont and finally Olympic.

The easiest course without any doubt is St. Andrews. Hard to miss the fairway and greens as large as a football field. Does it even have rough ? :)

I have a hard time at Bethpage Black.

Oakmont and Olympic are really tough cos of the putting. Conversely BPB has flatter greens so you can get away with bad approaches.

If you include the Trugolf courses the hardest is Whistler for me, again because of the greens, although there seem to be great scores shot there!

Congressional depends on the pins - can be really evil with bad placements. Personally I find Kia and BPB easiest. Have had several all birdie F9s and B9s there.
