Some great replies before me, but I'd like to add this.

You have 144 friends, try playing with people you already know.  At the very least, you won't see many quitters, and if you do it usually means a technical error and not just quitting.

Some players are just horrible AS players. Just ask any of my guild partners. :)

I join AS games with the full expectation that some partners will provide me 'opportunities to execute creative trouble shots'. If I'm honest with myself, sometimes it's ME that presents a partner with similar 'opportunities', lol.

To me, dealing with adverse situations is what makes Alt-Shot fun - that and contributing to the trash talk in game chat, that goes hand in hand with an enjoyable group.

Like my Pappy used to say: 'Sometimes yah gotta eat the chit with whipped cream, Bobby!'

I like that quote from you Pappy. But I sure wish I was the whipped cream!

It good to play AS with not so good partner.

Example bethpage 1st. I always drive fairway and know exact distances and clubs for 2nd hit, usual get birdie.

Play with not so good partner now I has to play out 40/50 rough, bunkers, 40 foots putts on hill.

This ar how to learn and more excitements than repeats the same hits all the time.

It doesn't. Nothing you do there is recorded on your stats. The win/loss is basically meaningless at present.
