I don't know if this is a new issue or old, but I only recently started experiencing it, and could not find any recent topics about it.

Often when joining an Alternate Shot game, the host / creator of the game does not see all three players filling up the slots, when those of us who joined, do. So we all sit there waiting and of course the host can not tee off!

I may have previously experienced a version of this same bug, when a normal Stroke Play game I created only showed me two other players had joined, but after I clicked Tee Off and got to the game, there were four of us!

Was WGT already aware of this issue? Are you going to fix it anytime soon?

Yes, it's an well-known, old companion, a lot of posts already. I'm glad though that you mention it because I keep track of these long-living bugs - I count twelve now, effortless.

I can't answer in WGT's name, but sad experience shows that "soon" is only understood there when their revenue is involved.

Well sadly when players are sitting on the tee (albeit invisible) there are no balls being used, so WGT would be better off fixing this problem. It has happened to me before and one night tried several times to get an A/S game going, only to see 4 people typing but only 3 visible and no tee off option. I gave up, found a good movie on TV, far less aggravating!

If one person declines then you might as well quit and try again. Depressing.

Can't quite fathom how the above response relates to the OP?

From what I can gather  the OP is referring to instances in alternate shot games when all players show as green prior to teeing off only to find that the game doesn't begin due to the 'tee off' button failing to respond when clicked.

Had it happen a few times to myself and seen it from both sides - sitting waiting for the willing host to tee off  and also being unable to get a response from the 'tee off' button my side.

I was saying that if someone declines the game, and then the 4 places get filled, then there is more chance of the game starter being unable to see the last joiner.

IMO, this is what causes havoc. If you decline an invite for one game while you're waiting in another you get booted from the game you're waiting in. Then the hassle starts if you're not the one that got booted.

If I'm waiting and one of the other players cancels, game over, you might as well do as Courteney suggests because that's when you start seeing things like no tee off button when game is filled or one player doesn't see everybody else even though all can see chat.
