The AJRoberts and Friends CC is looking to recruit new members (of all tiers) that are going to be reliable, active members. We organise lots of different internal competitions and have played many CC v CC Matchups.
However, recently we have struggled to get a high percentage of players fulfilling their membership by playing in the CC Tournies and letting opponents down in CC v CCs.
Therefore, I'm having a clear-out and recruitment drive - if you are a relatively serious WGT player that wants great banter (Skype included as an option), great competition and a hardcore of about 20 really top quality members and good players (we are top heavy with one TL,Ls,Tms and Ms) we'd like to have you! Come and have a look!

Our current make up is 36 members of which our tiers are: 1 Tour Legend, 14 Legends, 6 Tour Masters, 11 Masters, 3 Tour Pros and 1 Pro.
Very few of our players (five if memory) have joined us at a higher rank than Master so many of our core members have been with us as they have ascended through the tiers.
WELCOME TO THE AJRoberts and Friends Country Club
We are a deliberately small friendly club finding our size enables us to dynamically vary in line with the needs of our active members. We encourage all members to regularly check their club’s forums and participate in these and all other aspects of club life from the off.
Lower tiered members often find they benefit from tips posted by more experienced players. Any less experienced player is very encouraged (should they choose) to contact more experienced players for rounds and shoot the breeze as necessary!
The forums will make it all much clearer!
Members are also very welcome to set up club competitions. It’s difficult to stress enough that this is a small friendly, no heirs and graces club designed to allow an environment where all can have fun, and take their game to whichever level they choose!
We hope that you find your new club meets your expectations.
Terms of membership are limited but for the good of all we impose them rigidly:
1. All members must treat others in a respectful way. Breach of this will result in immediate termination of membership.
2. We understand circumstances vary in people lives, but we exist to cater for good people who want to participate on a regular basis. Members are therefore encouraged to let me know, as soon as possible, if they will not be able to actively participate in club for a period exceeding 30days.
3. Due to our active, small and friendly nature we usually terminate membership WITHOUT notice if this becomes the case. If you do find you membership has been terminated because of this, and wish to re-join we will of course consider each individual circumstance on its own merits.
4. We welcome players of all abilities but must stress that participation in one of our Internal Tournaments every month (not much to ask for) needs to be fulfilled.
5. We also need to stress that if you wish to be involved in a CC v CC Matchup - YOU WILL DO THE UTMOST TO CONTACT your opponent and fulfill the fixture! Likewise if you are contacted by your opponent YOU WILL ACCEPT the fixture and ensure you can agree a suitable date and time for both of you!
6. Some of our members are more than happy to contact each other via Skype (calls rather than video links) and chat as they play - although there is no pressure for everyone to do this - it's an option if you fancy it!
As owner I try and make it my personal responsibility to befriend any new member and play with/against them within their first week of joining!
