If I could play STA and RSG, I would be more than happy to pay $200 greens fee.  I play many of the courses in and around, Las Vegas every year and have also played, Myrtle Beach, Hawaii, and Florida, including Bay Hill.  I don't mind paying the extra to play courses like these its just not something I could do every day.

The breaks may be apparent but it is hard to read them.  I have seen other games where they have grids that make it easier to read. And I also, see most of the breaks on live  greens without to much problem.

It's been a long time since I took physics, and have tried to find a formula for figuring out green speed but it still seems to be very inconsistent.

Explain to me how your physics work.  I recently hit a putt that was down hill, which I thought I had factored in.  The ball traveled twice as far as I expected it to and went past the hole.  Now, there is a chance that WGT, stuck the wrong meter in front of me and I didn't notice it, however my next putt, was a doozy, also downhill,  Where in physics does it teach you that.  Also, find it quite common that putts with sharp left to right or right to left putts, that end up at a 90 degree angle from original putt, leave you with another sharp left to right or right to left putt.  Again, what kind of physics is that?

    TopShelf2010:
My grandparents would always tell me stories about walking to and from school in the snow, Uphill, BOTH ways.

PS: And they were thankful for that opportunity. LOL

They were lucky. I lived on top of Snaefell and the school was on the coast. In winter it took me 24 hours to get there and 48 to get back, and we had no shoes. But if you tell that to the kids of today they won't believe you.

I am not sure why but downhill putts consistently run longer than you would think.
