I played, I enjoyed, I thank all involved. Thanks Defore for organizing and running this. There is always a few trouble areas in a new series of games and double when there are multiple clubs involved, we learn by on-the-job doing. One suggestion is have a separate post for scores with no comments or discussions. Makes it easier to keep track of what is happening and for score keeper.

    Thanks

Thanks for the suggestion Gene. The single location for results and comments etc hasn't been a problem, not for me anyway.  All the results have been posted on page one as they came in.  Having scores and comments posted in a single forum was done to get some interaction and banter among the players. That hasn't happened much, but the intention was there.

Thanks everyone for taking part and making the first Times Zones Golf Club League a great success.

Their were a few hiccups along the way (not unexpected) but overall, the games were played in a sporting, fair and friendly manner.  Thanks especially to your captains, Ian, Tony, Colin and not forgetting Clive (former captain of Derbyshire) for their commitment, time and efforts.

I hope we see you involved again in the new year for another league with more teams, more formats and more good sporting craic.   (Hopefully WGT will stay on board with further support)

    Best regards, Michael. (Dubfore)

    The final league table:

    Win/Forfeit = 2 points  ~ Draw = 1 point ~ Void = 0 points

Hey Micheal, I just left a message with our CC Manager Tony ( UFVG ) and THEdogleg ( Jesse ) apologizing for not being able to complete the last match, and my apologies to you as well.

Thanks for all the work you put into this, hopefully I will be able to partake in the next one.

    Thanks again.

    Mike
