Corwyn: Since this is the first and last time I'll ever be leading the Legend tier in a tourney (probably only for a matter of minutes)
Well, I just wanted to offer an update to my first page post... it turned out I led this for about a week until being overhauled. And then, with a few days to go, decided to give it another shot, and promptly played the luckiest round I've ever had here on WGT.
I had 5 eagles in the round, way more than ever before for me... but I would guess not a record. [Has anyone had more than 5, from the tips? I think we'd need to exclude the best of par 5 course, and it must be said, that if any course is going to yield the most eagles, it's got to be Cabo with 3 reachable par 5s and 2 reachable par 4s.]
Two of the eagles were total flukes, hole-outs from the fairway: one on the first and an interesting attempt here on #12 to see what happened with full ts into a strong wind, that worked out perfect).
So, I'm amazed to discover I've won my first-ever Legend tier tourney (albeit in a niche event, where the 3-click meter led to a reduced field). Nonetheless, I'm celebrating!!!
And I'm extremely grateful to WGT for pursuing this fascinating notion of equipment-restricted tourneys. I think it's a fabulous way to offer variety into the tournament roster, and to give a much wider pool of players the chance to specialize and be competitive in a particular area.

Here's my card for anyone that's interested: funnily enough, I missed out on birdie on some of the easiest holes, playing poor approaches to #5 and #16, messing up the tee shots on the two easier par 3s, #6 and #17, and missing a couple of classic Cabo impossible-to-read putts from 3 feet and 6 feet.
As I mentioned in the earlier post, I found the 3-Click much easier to ding, but a struggle to get the right power on choke-down shots. A combination of 3-Click with a 90-second timer (for example) as a tourney option would really add some pressure to the gameplay. How quickly could you get the right backswing distance!
