Those of u that are interested here is a little helpful advice to get started this should be WGT's job in Informing our wgt member..... In order to get started go to your club selection and at the bottom u will see meters switch to the second option in order to participate in this tournament. Might I make a suggestion to u all take several practice swing's in order to get a feel for a max hit on your drives. Take your time on putts especially let you meter pass if your not comfortable with your pace these are high winds and championship greens. I believe this is a great tournament to challenge highly skilled players.  This actually was a quite fun game and a change of pace. Makes for a nice challenge...  posted a 70 got a double bogey on 18 grrr new to legend and have a new driver and putter i'll blame it on that.

Thx and good luck to all of u

P.S Take your time and the meter moved very smooth for me

WoW!!! Heavy wind, Champ Speed green and I have to use the 3 clicker. Do I have to wear an eye patch over my bad eye too?  ;)

I had to click on tee off without the 3 clicker just to see what happened. Nice job WGT with the pop-up explaining the need for special conditions. Can't wait 'till we can play in CC Tourneys and others with special club conditions. This meter is very hard when we don't ever use it.

    GL everybody.

Not played the tournament as of yet, out on the f/w's trying the '3 click' meter at the mo'.

Seems to be smoother and quite like it OFF the greens - struggling with putts under 6 feet or so on them.............. *click/click/click* :o(

Would love to be able to have my 15 foot minimum meter scale reduced to 7.5ft or so.

    Happy hittin' folks.

Thanks for the heads up and tips, I knew the tourney was there but had not seen it yet and also knew it would only work with 3 click, but your post nudged me to play the round now. Just finished with a 59 and I missed two easy birdied putts from less than 5 feet on the back 9. Although the 3 click doesn't seem slower like it was before it did seem smoother and for whatever reason I was hitting ding slightly more, maybe because you have to focus and concentrate through the entire swing. I def think the three click would make things more interesting, but not sure it would lower the scores any, if so only slightly, as the cream will always rise to the top. I enjoyed it though!

This tournament was brought to you by the letter "j'

I just wish I took a screen shot of the 30 foot birdie putt that left me here....  was a blown up letter j.  lol

It took a bit of getting used to and the conditions were not easy, but this was the smoothest meter I've ever had on WGT.

Well, I must have had my eye patch in the wrong place, 'cos I've just walked off the course stunned to have posted a 58!

Since this is the first and last time I'll ever be leading the Legend tier in a tourney (probably only for a matter of minutes), I'm going to share the Leaderboard and Card (and full details are here if anyone's interested):

Of course, now I wish this was a single-play, one-week-only event, lol!

I found the 3-click-meter less than smooth at times (several reboots and cache clearing to see if that was the issue), and like others, the short putts were a real challenge. Although I usually use a higher scale for shorter putts, I found it easier to switch down to give the most 'ding reaction' time possible.

I was helped by a very sweet eagle on #14, and the first birdie I can remember on #18.

This was a lot of fun! Only the second time I've used the 3-click-meter after an unhappy try-out when it first came on the scene. It's an interesting variation, although I found it so hard to stop on my intended mark when choking down shots, and took so many attempts, that I can see it being a drag when playing multiplayer (but of course, the timer would make the pressure interesting in that event!).

Congratulations Shoe and WGT on coming up with this 'required set-up' tourney, hopefully the first of many.

67 for me first time round, i found it difficult to judge distances, no avatar movements to use, still felt i dinged more than normal, found i had to concentrate more.

l like playing Cabo anyway, fun to be had!!
