    mantis0014:

Hitting at the extreme edge of lite-blue 'near-ding region' will cost about 5% yardage. Hitting into dark blue, the yardage cost is steeper - at the extreme left or right edges of may be 20-30%, depending on club, shot type, and spin used. Elsewhere I've posted a modified version for shot-shaping, using BPB #2 tee shot as example.

I always thought that was a good pic...   but,   Seeing it again in a quick glance..  too many L to R's ...      I know there is the arrow.     I think it should read L to R   or R to L

    Just a casual observation

Done, and done, Rodger! such a nice suggestion I've copyrighted the result, lol. Thanks for suggestion.

I usually would use meter for cross wind corrections with the first lines off from center ,aka dinger or excellent line has a cross wind of 20, working it in or out from there and it was pretty accurate. As far as using the box to gauge..... let me know when you find a formula for that way that is accurate, hurts my head even trying to put that in formula form. Hope that with meter helps and good luck.

     my line is always erratic.

To smooth out the meter, make some changes on your computer.

Close all other tabs. Close any applications running in the background you do not need to play WGT

Clear the Flash Player cache by right clicking in the game client page and selecting Global Settings > Delete All > Delete Data.

On the game client page, click on Menu > Game Settings (or Menu > Options if you've already selected and loaded a course).

    Game Settings/Options:

Display Hole In One Challenges - NO

    Ball Speed Boost - None

Use Ball Speed Boost On Green - NO

    Flash Quality - HIGH

Show WGT Lessons Button - OFF

    Distance Markers - OFF

    Aerial Multi-Cam - ON

    Aim Arc - OFF/ON (I use OFF)

    Camera Pans - OFF/ON (I use OFF)

    Reflections - OFF

    Putting Grid - OFF

    Hole Info Display - OFF

    Ball Trails (Replay) - ON/OFF

    Flag Animation - OFF

End of Game Messages - ON or OFF

Putter Pal Display - ON if you have it. OFF if you don't

Shot Pal Display - ON if you have it. OFF if you don't

My meter problem solved by restart fresh (single instance of browser) one.  It removes all memory leak and works. I normally does when i play each game.

    Never had meter problem

With horizantal wind my shots are more guess work. Blind
