hi mkg ,
i used to hit opposite of wind direction which is what u r saying. I am not getting better result. So thinking of clicking wind direction. for example left to right wind..click right but move marker more to left
Swami predicts you will be very shocked and dismayed at the result - you will get twice the wind-drift. And a ton of unexpected extra distance. strong cross-wind always hit a least a bit into the wind.
You want a straight flight (towards aiming point) on your ball, with crosswind?
{edit note, per Mantis suggestion, cross-wind scale edited for clarity. thx, roger!}
Hitting at the extreme edge of lite-blue 'near-ding region' (20 mph wind comp.) will cost about 5% yardage. Hitting into dark blue, the yardage cost is steeper - so, at the extreme left or right edges can be 20-30%, depending on club, shot type, and spin used. If you hit it in the black, you've lost a ball, Jack!
Elsewhere I've posted a modified version for shot-shaping, using BPB #2 tee shot as example. Use search to find it.
