I just started to play the final round of a 4 round CC CTTH tourney and It said i missed the cut. I then looked at the leaderboard and 3 entrants are marked MC and one is marked WD.

I've  never seen anything like this before. There was a cut line for round 3 10% + ties but 10% of what? What would 10% be in round 3 of a 4 round CTTH tourney? And How could the leader (no not me) not make it? Anyone have any ideas?

I would think you need to increase the cut line. with 3 players the best you could hope for is 33% ( unless all players tied)and with 10% cut line that drops everyone out.

Which tourney was it? I'm curious to have a look at it.

Isaiah 45:23 but it was just a poorly thought out cut line. We never have more than 15 players in a premium tourney. 10% of 15 would only be 1.5 players. so only 1 player would make the cut. But this one we only had 3 after one withdrew. 10% of 3 well I'm sure you get the picture.

So the cut line is thought out poorly, too. How can a cut be valid below 1, excluding the leader?

OTOH, I don't see any sense in cut lines in virtual tournaments. Their objective in RL tourneys is to ease the conduct of the event by dropping those who have no more chance to win. Here, it's irrelevant. Why not let the last player continue? (And they have done so regardless of any proclaimed cut line).

In a CC tourney, I'd regret to exclude any player from the fun before it's finished, more so if money is at stake.
