    Using the 'miss ding on purpose' method to allow for wind, you also have to account for distance you will lose from the shot by dinging early and late.

    From experience many know how much to move the aim point to allow for the wind on tee shots, ding (or close to ding), so their ball winds up where in the fairway they want it.

    As far as allowing for wind on approach shots and using the ding (or close to ding), we can use the Chip/Pitch shot mode grid that displays on the green:

    This for people who can not click ding or do not have nike ball. What i am doing is reducing big deviation instead of  double cross shots.
