It's happened to me twice now. Both times, I was on a green, but a relatively long distance from the flag (20 yds, and 23 yds). The default club was the putter, which of course does not display a green dot on the ball; however, I decided to flop a wedge. I selected the wedge, aimed the shot and cursed over to move the dot down and it was not there. I switched back and forth from the putter to the wedge (and other irons), back to the putter, back to the wedge, etc. etc. The dot never appeared. Both times I took the shot with the wedge. One of the shots was a full swing on the ding, and the other was about 75% and on the ding. Both shots went about 6 inches.
