    ScottHope:

Could you point me to a post with said broken link?

The next time I come across one.  :-)

Thanks, I do delete images from my Photobucket™ account occasionally so the broken link is more likely to be my fault than the hosting site.

What I don't get is why some of your most helpful posts were blanked out. You had to do that and I was always curious as to why. One particular thread nags me but I can't think of the title. It had your typical help videos in it.

Perhaps I considered them unhelpful or insulting in some way and deleted them for that reason, but the videos can show as deleted if I edit and re-upload them. Then they have a different URL and I forget the threads they're posted in and as a result the URL doesn't get changed to the new one.

Helpful stuff guys.....can I just point out a couple of things. In your post MB, where you state that you resize your image to 450 x 250 to fit the post box, good advice, but if you leave either one of the dimension boxes blank, doesn't matter which one, the picture will resize to the dimension you have entered but it will retain it's original aspect ratio. Enterng dimensions in both boxes will resize the image to your entered values, possibly distorting the image.

Secondly, if your original image is say, 200 pixels wide, then typing a width of 400 into the edit image dialogue box to make it bigger won't work, it'll just get posted at it's original size, (you can make it smaller, but you can't make it bigger that way, such is life, lol)  You can enlarge it by changing the HTML code but I'm not going into that here.

You're right, I forgot to make that correction...when I posted this in our CC forum, I was told about using 450 only for cards, funny it had never worked for me before, but I gave it a shot-walla!

With all the different link options that the image hosting websites give you it can get very confusing and annoying.

The easiest way, judging by all those things you have to do, bearing in mind computers are supposed to make life easier for everyone, and therefore a simple "one click and it's done" shouldn't be too much to ask, is to say "I saw this pic I would like you to see, now go find your own and save me the bother"

    Life's too short Mehh.
