I entered a RG at Kiawah back 9.  I shot a 28 which is no mean feat for me.  Because it was a 28 I was extra careful to check how I was doing, but I could not see my 28 in the results page.

Screen shot for ease of use here:

No one did better and a count back win was possible.  A good placing was minimum guaranteed obviously.

I contacted member services before it closed hoping they could sort it out before paying, but looks as if this was not possible.

I contacted WGT initially with this:

As per above title just completed Kiawah Back 9 Ready Go( 63682 ).
Checking my standing my name is not shown. Neither there or score on my page, but I know I did it and for once shot a 28...

I later politely chased it thinking best to resolve before close??? Maybe I never thought it through but this is my leisure...

    WGT RESPONDED as follows:

"It looks like it is waiting for your score to post. As long as you completed the tournament rounds, your score should update properly. If you have any issues please let us know."

Now this actually shows it's not me mad???  If you enter a RG you either post a score or are shown as a WD????  No chance of taking the 200 credits, burning balls and as if never entered apart from that??  Shooting a 28 I was very careful to close things properly, but played plenty straight after so don't see how that was an issue ??? Also as it's now closed would I not be shown as a WD.

I have naturally written back to WGT, and await their response.

Does your account show a credit entry fee taken for this RG #63682 and did you take a screen shot of it and send it along with the note to WGT?

WGT have accepted I played it per above, and so that's not up for question.

Could it happen more is a concern IMO.  Why I came here to see if any one else has heard of it happening.

    Cheers

    Hi

This is weird but I don't see you post 28 on your profile either. I am not sure if I have seen that before. I'll let CSR figure it out:)

    Cheers Icon.  Agree weird.

It's concerning that having played it the system can allow this to happen.  Several RGs I never look twice at after playing them.

Shooting a very competitive enough to win 28 I did,  and so the big real concern obviously is how often does this happen?  of course some credits involved here and now but Your CS will sort that I am sure to whatever that score entitled me.

Any which way this looks a WGT issue to me, shows on your system as played, carded the score, played since and even within the 12 hours etc etc

Thanks for your response. I am sure that is a concern you also share and thus want it resolved quickly.

    Weird indeed.

The Leaderboard of #63682, played on 23 - 24 Mar, shows 42 scores + 7 WDs - one entry is missing.

No entry in your score history as mentioned above.

Do you have proof for paying the entry fee in your account?

    No.

I contacted WGT ASAP, and well within the closure to play / played again within that time as said.

The message from WGT looks to confirm that on their end I am showing as played though, just waiting to complete.

Worrying that you can go a whole round in a 200 credit entry RG, burning L90 balls and that can happen.  Had I carded a 31 I would probably never have thought to look.  Gut feel is it can't be happening much, but it's a concern.  Hopefully WGT bring this micro issue to resolution quickly, and more importantly look in to the matter more generally.

Thanks for the heads up Jim, I'll be sure to keep an eye on the few RG's I enter. I can't afford to donate credits due to a wgt mistake, I make plenty of those on my own.

Wgt, please assure your customers that this is a one time occurrence & won't happen again.

And publicly apologize to Jim & make it right.

This was brought to speedy and v satisfactory conclusion by customer service. Thanks for that, no complaints at all there.
