Why can't we just "copy & paste" our scorecards?  Is it something WGT doesn't want us to do?

Every now and then I'll get a PM asking me how to post a scorecard ... I used to use Tinypic and Paint.  Then I joined my new CC and they had a link to this program.  Honestly, I never paid attention to this thread before ... I did a search for the "PostImage" program and found this thread.

If you're going through photobucket or tinypic ... you're really wasting a lot of time and your own disk space (if you don't remove the images you're uploading).

Give this program a try ... just follow the instructions on page 1 ... Sammi's post.  It has 3 videos to watch, but walks you through all the phases you need.

    This is sweet!  Trust me!

Edit:  Here's the link to the videos for installing and using PostImage ... Click Here

(or just go to page 1)

... and be sure to install the program ... it don't take up much disk space and makes capturing a scorecard (or other images) a lot easier ... Here's an image I captured where to click to install the program ...

Looks good Kat but I like to add bits of crap to my images before I upload them sometimes. What bits of crap can you add with Postimage?

Yo pictures are too BIG babe.  : )

There's an edit feature with "PostImage" ... if you look at the image I posted above, I circled where the link was, added the arrow and the text.  The editing is pretty basic, but you can do some simple editing with the program.

Also, if you have a photo editor, you can copy the image you've captured and paste it into the photo editor ... from there, if you do another [Prt Scr] screen capture, you can reload the edited image into PostImage.

I like it better than having to upload an image ... that step is handled automatically by the PostImage hosting site by clicking a single button to upload the image (or using the hotkey combination [Ctrl]+[D]).

    I'm heading that way, hehe.

I'll stick with Snagit for now for me pics. I can do lots of different capture types including auto scrolling for images which are bigger than my screen, that's a great feature in my opinion. I can also upload from the Snagit editor with one click which puts the HTML code onto my clipboard like postimage, so I guess I'm pretty sorted.

I have seen some YouTube videos of postimage in action and I like the way it works, so if Snagit ever goes belly up, then I know where to go to next.

I never used Snagit ... I just checked it out and saw the pricetag.  It looks really cool though.  For what I do, it just might be better than PostImage.

Worth having a go with it, if they still offer a trial period.
