Thank you for your great effort - postimage.org for all who are interested, too.

@tiger: The pictures must be online to be published in WGT - the host obviously is postimage, hidden behind the program.

I think what Mika (Tigerfan) was trying to say is with Postimage, no they dont. And sorry if i am misunderstanding you here Alosso.

With every program i have seen, you must first do a screen capture, send it to something like Paint, then edit it to what you want it to look like. Then send that image to a file host, like Imageshack or Photobucket.

Then send that image to something like Tinypic to post here.

With Postimage, you bypass all that. Outline the image on your screen with your cursor, click copy, post it.

    Here is an example.....

Using Postimage, the above took me 11 seconds. Thats how fast you could post a scorecard. There is also a one click option to *save to file* if its something you want to keep on your computer. Again sorry if i misunderstood you but this is just so fast and easy, i want to show it to everyone. The 3 videos on the first page of this thread were done by Phil, a member of our CC.

But the image must be hosted by Postimage Samantha otherwise the URL wouldn't contain the host name Postimage...

The fact that the process of uploading to the host website appears to be bypassed during the capture and posting process doesn't mean that it does not happen, does it?

+1 Scott. We need a picture "in the internet" to post it here.

    @Samantha:

You named the different steps necessary, which are from a universal POV:

1- capture an image of the screen,

    2. edit to fit your desires,

3- save it to your PC,

4- upload it to a host,

5- obtain a link to the online pic,

    6- insert it here.

You described the "traditional way" of doing each step separately, and the postimage way to have ##1-5 ex 3 in one step - very elegant.

I combine ##1-3 in the Win7 Snipping Tool, and ##4-5 in the Image Shack Uploader.

It's the old saying, "All roads lead to Rome"

    Cheers!

Technically yes Scott, you are right. Trust me i would never try and match computer skills or knowledge with you lol. The things you show in this forum are amazing.

I guess its the old rule, if there is a more complicated way to do something, men will find it and do it that way :-)

I just have never met anyone that has tried Postimage and didnt think it was the fastest and easiest way to copy and post an image, whether its a scorecard or even a picture.

Thanks to everyone here that tries to help each other.

    Have a great day :-)

Thanks Sam & Alosso. I am but a bumbling fool with too much free time on his hands but I do agree with you Sam about the men thing, very funny but oh so true, haha!

I'll say again that I do like the look of what Postimage can do and if Techsmith continue to slowly destroy Snagit with every new update then I may well start to use it.

You have a nice day too  : )
