    finding that downwind affects short irons more than long irons/woods.  Armchair golfers care to decipher that one?  I think some adjusments need to be considered, at least.

     

    Also, a putt using 150ft strength, missed ding by 1/8"...off-line by 40'?  Don't you think that is a bit extreme?

    Could be the speed and trajectory difference between the two. I would expect a lofted iron to be more affected than a low, speeding long iron or driver.

    Only 40 ft? 1/8 inch miss is huge on that scale, especially if you miss on the wrong side of the break. Expect anything with the starter putter-the accuracy isn't there.
