I've had several multiplayer games in the last week where the timer runs out on someone else's shot, but the animations and sound effects keep going.  So I close the window to reset things, and when I come back, it says that I didn't return in time, and the round is over for me.  I'm certain I returned in time.

    Why does this happen?

I have the webpage open along with the game window, so to return to the game, I used the open 'play now' button.  Could it be a caching issue?  I kept the webpage open to save time in the event of this sort of glitch... should I have restarted the browser altogether instead?  Would that have made a difference?

I've read enough about how "WGT wants all yer monies" and all of that, and I hope that any replies don't turn into a bunch of cynical troll-festing.  Programming is hard, and this game is extraordinarily complex.  What I'd like to know is if other people are having this problem, if WGT is aware of it, if it's global or dependent on client's system and network, if it is being addressed...  especially would like to know if it's being addressed.

This problem has been going on for a few weeks. Hopefully they'll fix it soon. They have been informed.

Yep... just lost 450 credits on a match I was 3 up on because the client timed out and crashed.  It said I didn't get back and it was definitely less than 5 min.
