Anyone notice how when you are having a really great round suddenly WGT throws a shot that you have made a hundred times over the green into the rough and you come out with a double bogey. Seems like they can't deal with success!

In a randomizing machine like VEM, the WTF shots have their time, too.

Not one that I couldn't attribute to operator error.

Just ONE in the 5 years I've been playing here.  I needed a par on Cong. 18 to get to the cut line of the Virtual US Open Qualifier in June 2011.

5mph r to l cross wind and I aimed to be safe and just hit the green aiming at the edge of the clubhouse.(~25ft right of the pin).  That's about twice I would normally adjust my aim.

228 to the pin, down 34ft.  Full power hybrid, dinged it.  A shot I had successfully hit dozens of times before.

The 5mph cross wind blows the ball 50 feet left of where I aimed, and it goes in the water.  And I missed qualifying.

It is the only time I felt robbed by the game.

    Anyone have a tissue please?

How strange is that? I was on the 18th tee needing a par to get in, too, and a pixel early on the drive sends the ball way left into the rough under a tree.  Game over.  :-(

Hey, what about a snake in the grass? Would be nice to have some wildlife effects all up here on the WGT and all.

Lots of Snakes in the WGT Grass without having to hear them as well as watch what they get up to.
