  Slope and course ratings vary a lot depending on the tees - my club has a course rating and slope rating of 74 and 143 from the black tees. Blue it is 73 and 133 respectively.

  The other major factor on WGT are the conditions, wind and green speed. How this can be taken into account is a nother problem.

  Hey all,

  Thanks for the information you've provided.  I have come up with some decent formulas to determine the slope ratings on the courses here.  Even if they aren't perfect, they are giving me what I want.

  I just wished WGT had some form of ESC or Gross Shots per hole adjustment they would apply to member scorecards.  The max they are applying is totally out of whack.  And without an unplayable lie option, some scores just come in higher than they would if the option for an unplayable exist.
