    Just started playing for credits and thought i was getting shorted on winnings.  So i paied attention to my last one to make sure

    Started out with 311 credits

    played a match game. risked 250 credits to win 225

    won match.  should have 536 credits. Only have 511.

    Already sad that so many credits are taken out just to play for credits.

    Anyone else notice this?

    Always the same player's error: They forget that both pay the rake.

    From 250 crs, both spend a rake of 25 which leaves 225 as a wager.

    You win 225, pay 25, add 200 to your account (311 => 511)

    The opponent loses 225 to you, pays 25 => a debit of 250 crs.

    WGT gets 2x25 = 50 crs.

    alosso nailed it on the head. Please be advised that Match Play games require you to pay a fee which gets collected from both players. In this case both players paid 25 credits to play against one another. This does not get returned back to the player who wins.

    Thanks.  WGT is really raking the crap outta that.  Vegas doesnt double dip like that and there is actually a real transaction (you hand over cash or bank transfer).  Since WGT already has the money from both players, there is no overhead other than a database update to each players credit total.

    A simple change of statement would alleviate the confusion.  Instead of saying "Winner will win 225 credits", it should say "Winner will win 200 credits" because after all, that is all that they really what you are winning.   If not, explain the double dip at the time of the wager/or winning of wager.

    Then you are spending money on balls during the match too?  lol.  WGT triple dipping in that pool.

    It's always been like that. If you are playing a friend it's better to play for balls.

    What confusion?

    Look into your Account tab - it will show a win of 225 next to a payment of 25, that's correct and precise bookkeeping. Don't demand from the company to display things against their advantage.
