    craigswan:

    Hi Scott .

Not a big deal just annoying .

When joining wgt it always asked me to sign on with my username and password despite me clicking the remember me box . Why .

Just happens on my laptop but not my i-pad .

Spent 5 minutes debating with the wife how to spell asked . I thought it was ask's but none of the two look right to me but you get the gist .

Hi Craig, I suppose that might be a cookie setting somewhere.

If you tell me what browser you use I might be able to find out what to change and where.

I would say 'asks', but as long as people know what you mean and you are not drafting out a legal document, I don't think it matters too much.  ; )

That'll be the Chrome browser then. I probably won't be doing any investigating tonight and I have a few things to get done tomorrow, so I'll have a search after that.  : )

Just so you know before you waste a bunch of time digging, I use Chrome exclusively and have never been asked to to sign in (after the very first time) and I haven't touched any of my internet settings (cookies or otherwise) from the day I installed it.

Plus if he sets it up as a bookmark (or his homepage) after logging in it shouldn't ask for a login anymore.

Thanks BB, hopefully Craig will do that if he hasn't already got it bookmarked.

Right Craig, you could try this to get rid of the cookies that Chrome currently has for wgt.com, this may seem counterintuitive, but as your browser does not seem to be doing what you expect it to, something may be corrupt somewhere.

    1. On any wgt.com page, click the view site information icon at the very left of the address bar.
    2. From the menu, click on cookies and site data.
    3. On the next pop up, click on manage on-site device data.
    4. In the on-device site data pop up, click the dustbin to the right of wgt.com and www.wgt.com to delete the cookies from the site. Then click done at the bottom.

You will have to log in again when the web page refreshes but hopefully it will remember you for next time, if not, we'll have to think of something else.
