I love the new Blitz games, and have been taking advantage of the quick games and meeting a ton of different people.  Don't take this post the wrong way.  I am in no way complaining, or that upset about the scoring of a little game....it's not that big of a deal...but a scoring adjustment would be nice.

I understand that you want to keep people involved in the game and not quit after a lost ball or water ball, but the recovery bonus seems a little overdone.  Doubling the score if the next ball hits the green seems a little excessive, especially on Wolf Creek.  I have played many opponents who have hit water balls on a difficult shot only to hit one within 10' on an easier shot for double points.  I know it probably isn't strategic, but if you play high and dry, and post a decent round, the waterboy ends up winning in the end.  Again, not overly concerned, but it would be nice to stay out of the water and not lose to someone who lost 2 balls.

    absolutely agree.

and to add to that.  25000 for hitting the flag stick!!  just ruins the game.

thanks for the post cos I did not realise the recovery scoring system.  really quite ridiculous

I'm OK with the flag stick bonus and the hole in one bonus.  Both are skill shots, and should be rewarded accordingly.  If someone hits the stick, I don't have a problem playing for second, or it's my turn to rattle the flag to get back in it.

Agreed on the stick.  If I lose to that, all is good.  The other guy was better (or luckier in some cases).  I can attempt to do the same to regain.

The recovery points are overbaked.  200%?  Ludicrous.  150%?  maybe...if it's tight to the pin.  That's my 3.5 cents.
