    Hi all,

I was hoping that someone from one of the more active CC's will be able to offer me some

advice. I am a relative noob to WGT, but I feel I am advancing at a decent pace, and I have

thrown some of the real green into the game, and I am having an immense amount of fun

with what I consider to be the best golf simulator I've played. But I digress.

I was recently appointed a Director in my CC, and I gladly accepted the offer, because, in

my mind, a lot of fun lies waiting in a well-run CC. It's a level 3 club, soon to be level 4, but

nobody is paying any attention to the forums, and the members I try to friend for the benefit

of the Club, most ignore the request. That's fine, I can handle that. Over the Labor Day

weekend, I posted an offer of a free sleeve of level 34 Cally's to a winner chosen at random by me. The only catch was in order to get in the drawing, you had to post a brief

bit about yourself in the Club Introductions thread on our forum. Nobody participated.

Just feeling a little disappointed, I know the Country Clubs can be a really cool part of WGT. I just wish I could get through to our members. Any advice gladly accepted.

    Hello Dako,

I think that goes with the territory of running a club. It's been my experience anyway in the two that  I ran. I think most of the members do their chatting on the courses.

One idea for more social interaction would be to run separate matchplay games,  the players have to make contact/friends to arrange matches.

At the Fair Play, we're about to start a fun Ryder Cup tournament soon, that will also help  members get to know each other.
