  At least they chicken out of the series on a high note.

  Good thing they'll end up keeping other close rivalries on their schedule, like Navy and Purdue.  It makes the most sense to drop the schedule with the one major rival school they have a losing record against.

  if you read the contract agreement, everything was done correctly. instead of worrying about the next beatdown, id be worried about your joke of a coach. Ohio State will be a nice addition.
