Since they have been introduced, I wondered why the waiting time for the next free pass would not update automatically in the game client - the CDP clock ticks every minute. The "next pass" clock will only update when the whole window is updated (return from a course, new window by "Play Now").
Now I learned that this affects the availability of the free passes negatively.
This is the scenario:
Play a game using the free pass, return to the main window, the clock will correctly show "Next free pass in 12 hours".
Leave the window untouched for more than 12 hours. It will still show "Next free pass in 12 hours" - outdated display.
From this display, start a new game. You'd expect to be asked to use your new free pass - wrong! Instead, you are asked to buy a pass - 37 cr blah-blah. Is this due to the wrong display of before?
You may abort the game, and on return to the game window the display will be correct, showing one (free) pass. Of course, the sequence goes correctly now when starting another game.
Would it be too much to ask for a fix to this annoying bug which ignores a valid free pass?
