  Honestly don't see this changing. It is unfortunate but you will have to prepare properly before starting a game.

  I hear your argument, but brother what a nightmare. Your best ball according to whose criteria? Software code that will pick based on numbers? Or a human who knows maybe what he wants, ie a course specific ball. Maybe you're looking for some extra spin, or more distance. I  think that would be a very unsatisfactory system. Better to just make sure you have enough of the rock you want.

  I'm a pretty poor golfer IRL so I carry lots of balls in my bag. I buy in bulk the same as here.

  Don't you think that those 40+ top programmers with their top salaries, of whom you have been speculating more than once, should be able to accomplish this task easily?

  Good. Don't change it. It only takes once to learn we have to be responsible for ourselves.

  I don't think  self-responsibility is unfortunate. It's actually extremely normal for those that believe in it.

  I'm really glad to see someone from WGT answer this with the truth. It's not changing so stop asking. Then again, they'll be another thread about this for the millionth time soon.

  It is a valid point by the OP and they shouldn't be flamed for it. I have probably 20+ balls in my inventory I can't use in tourneys because I don't  really know if they'll make 18 holes or not. A secondary or ball 2 function would be easy to program and at least a reward for making a certain tier, level, WGT Nation etc.
