It could be changed but it won't, 99.999999 %. In this game, the balls are treated as equipment like your clubs - changes prohibited by the golf rules.

And, the other balls aren't in your bag but in your inventory - think of your garage, no access during a game. For any ball available in the Pro Shop you will be asked to buy on your last ball - make your decision then.

You've been here over 4 years. I'd have thought that you'd be used to the way it works.

WGT Balls come with a meter letting you know the number of holes left on any ball that you purchase hence 9 holes let or 18 holes left to many times a good score is ruined because a player does not know the life of his or her ball for that round.

    Thank You,Dr strick52

Well, many of us have been here for a while. While some suggestions are good, some stand on the other side of the street. I do have a better suggestion that WILL help everyone.

PLEASE, IF I RUN OUT OF THE BALLS I'M USING, SET IT UP SO THAT I USE MY NEXT BEST BALLS IN MY INVENTORY. Don't punish me by forcing me to use the crap freebee balls. Since I have no way of guessing if I'll loose a ball or two while playing, it would help.

Would be an easy thing to change in the game format.

Actually, I think it's way less than easy from a programming point to do mid round.

    1. We can only equip our bag with 1 make/model of ball.

    2. How does WGT decide what you consider is the next best ball in your invertory? Do they go by spin, distance, durability, forgiveness, precision, color, make, model?

3, WGT lets you know when you have started using the last of each make/model of ball, AND gives you an opportunity to buy more of that make model of ball. So WGT is not punishing you, you are punishing yourself.

    4. The Rules of Golf Appendix I allow a tournament committee to invoke a local condition of the competition known as the One Ball Condition. Except Practice mode, virtiually all the games we play are tournament games, which is also why we have a scoring average instead of a handicap.

The easiest thing would be to make sure you have more than enough of the ball you want to use in your bag before you start a round. No programming needed.

Why not make it two models and cancel any One Ball Condition?

    Just thinking...
