  Persimmon...Lovely persimmon. My first driver was a 1950 MacGregor Tourney 4-wood, cut down to pee-wee size. I still use it with an older dynamic gold S-100 shaft. The sound is music and the result, for me, is a charming bore; always arrow straight, always 180 to 190 again & again & again...

  Well I just got my Titleist 731 PM 's re gripped after having trouble putting them on before the glue drys. So I had a friend do it for me from work. Bought them last summer for $45 off some guy from Craigslist in my area, but was missing the 9 iron. Went to a clearance golf warehouse and found a couple of 6 irons and one RAM FX laser 9 iron in brand new condition; and all for $1.00 each!. So hopefully will get out soon for a 9 hole walking course. Maybe get some pictures as well and post them here. Cheers!....Joe
