  I raised the matter of purchased balls suddenly flying into the brush, trees or water a long time ago but nobody seemed to agree. It still happens though!!!!

  I lost a ball today.  CCC Par 5 water hole in a CC comp 3 - 5 MPH HW.  Ball was red and I calculated I had between slim and zero chance of making it, LOL.  Well ball hit the top of the rock work, but turned out slim was still leaving town as bounced right to the water at the back right.  

  Hmmmmm lesson there somewhere, but no doubt I will go for gold next time too:)...In fairness I was trying to chase down a good score, but blaming the game for that stuff is nuts.

  Thanks for reopening this thread I started ages ago. Just had the worst meter stutter on St Andrews and lost a ball in The shallow stream. The entire game the meter stutter was the worst I have seen for about 3 weeks, but I could not quit as it was match play. And yes, before you ask I cleaned everything. But really if you are paying $5 dollars for 3 balls to play a game the game should work all the time.

  If the game as these minor glitches why not just give you a ball that as endurance even if lost. As most who play know, having a penalty shot is bad enough without costing you real money.

  I once had a dog that fell asleep at the vets, when he woke up he was horrified to discover he'd lost his balls.

  He never did find them.  And the vet refused to replace them.

  I have been playing for a few years now--I use high end balls---what in the f is WGT trying to pull. High end balls---when in red ' ball is almost done you can hit it in any direction.  Take the  4th or 5th swing on a brand new ball and gone in the trees in the water for no friggin reason at all .  This is 4 th time in 2 months3rd time in 2 weeks..  All this time and hardly a ball gets lost---all of a sudden increase in lost balls   WTF WGT^  sorry mispeslled it the second time
