I was looking at the leader-board for a RG where I thought I played well, and got lucky with lies, couldn't have gone much better (front nine at Pinehurst, uneven lies and a fair breeze). I reckon always best to look early as the big hitters seem to play later.
To the point; second place at the time, with a 32, was someone on their third day playing and no upgrades. He also already has a better score than me on the Als thingy. Talent like that is almost unbelievable.
