I've been stuck on 62 for over 3 weeks, No up No down   When u shoot 9 under on a 9 hole course I would think it would do something. Whats up with that?

I just looked at your recent score history and I see no 9 under for 9 holes rounds. The best I saw was a couple of 4 under rounds and 4 under on 9 holes which would be 8 under 63 or 64 and that won't lower your average. In fact most of your rounds lately have been either even or 1 or 2 over for 9 holes. If you had any -9 for 9 holes they were practice rounds and practice rounds don't affect your average. To lower your average now for 9 holes you would need to shoot 30 or lower in a ranked round not a practice round.

I 100% agree with B2B - in fact I am surprised that your average is as low as it is, I assume this is a result of beating higher tiered players in matchplay.

The great news is you card all your scores, good or bad, and you appear to want to tier up - that always gets my admiration.

The bad news is when you tier up to Legend, you will not have the skills required and you will struggle unless you can work on your game to hit more GIR, get closer to the pin, improve your scrambling/sand saves and sink a lot more putts.

Nope, the best of 3's and 5's do not count towards your averages, but do count towards your overall stats.

Also try not to look at the scores by how many under you are, but the raw score. A 4 under at St A's F9 is a 32 (64 for average) yet the same 4 under at Oly F9 is a 30 (average 60).The St A's score may not move your average, the 30 will.

Basically you play x amount of games in a tier (TM I think is 40 games) before you become "saturated". At this point a better score is replaces your previous worst score - and this is why when you reach this point, initially your average will drop quickly, then it gets to the point where replacing "bad" scores becomes harder. Just keep plugging away. In your case I think your average may be as low as it is due to match play wins against legends, as I did not see many scores below 64, so potentially any score around this may knock out a higher score resulting in a drop.

Like I said it will happen but you add some 30's into the mix, you will tier up quickly. Just continue to play and enjoy the game, and before you know it, you will be saying "wtf, why am I teeing up in the car park and my master mates are playing from ladies tees" :)
