teedoff58: I not sure what's going on here, but when I see scores of -10, 11, 12 I have to wonder just how these people score so low? I have Taylor made clubs, Ping wedges, top of the line balls, Taylor Made Putter, and I've now have played EVERY day since mid aug. It's now 10/26/10 and I suck. I can't improve my play for anything, no matter how much practice or how many games I play
I hope you take this with a grain of salt, but it is going to take many more then 98 ranked rounds to become good at this game.
The scores are low because players take the time to learn everything. They take both physical and mental notes and try not to repeat mistakes. They know every hole, where to be and where not to be. How much carry each of there clubs have, how much spin to apply or not to apply. Some of these things just need to be learned and are done so by putting in hours and hours of gameplay.
I noticed a post on your wall from a player willing to play with you and help you become a better player. I would suggest that you take this players offer and pick their brain when you are dealing with any shot.
Cheers
