    MJS74:
There are players including top ones like Jakestanfill who are switching to Tiger Woods Online.  More will follow.

    Howdy MJS,

Just want to make sure we're all clear.  The motivation for my foot out the door and heading over to TWO when Ryder Cup finishes is for one reason and one reason only, THE METER.  It has become excruciating since the Sept 1 update and even worse since the one everyone is griping about now.

No I don't agree with adding superfluous junk to the game while ignoring the bigger issues like the myriad people with meter problems, being able to drop a club from the iron set, green mapping, fringe that acts like velcro, etc.  This is still tolerable for me and could wait patiently until they implement these corrections.  24 freeze or spikes in 18 holes is beyond my comprehension.  I have 2 laptops that are both above specs and run every other application in the world close to flawlessly, except WGT.

Far too many systems are incompatible with WGT for them to keep ignoring it.  Over the last year I have recruited 30+ people to the site.  Guess how many still play WGT?  2 yes 2.  The rest never had the chance to get hooked like I did when meter actually performed properly.  The only reason that each stated they won' t play anymore is the swing meter.  Guess where they play virtual golf now?  Exactly, TigerWoodsOnline, and all state they simply don't have meter issues there.

Makes you wonder about the company's priorities and long term sustainability.  BETA forever, or at least until the money dries up.  If the venture capitalists funding this game ever read these forums, I strongly believe the money would be gone in a FLASH.  Pardon the pun but couldn't resist.

I agree with pretty much all you say stencil. I'm also getting tired of hearing from many others that were grandfathered in and have clubs that you can only get at levels of 72 plus. I have to wonder how much Avatar Lee would complain if he were playing at legend tier with clubs only his 37 level would allow. I my self have many clubs my level does not allow. But at least I understand the fustration of those who didn't buy some before the change, then thier tier went up. How is anyone suppose to improve their game with a beginners driver at the masters tee. This has gotten worse every month I've played here. I don't want to quit, I want it all fixed. But I suppose that's a dream, dollars are god.

We were not grandfathered in as you put it. We earned the clubs that we have now by playing well over 1000 rounds and moving up the tier system before the level system was put into place. Lee has put in close to 1300 rounds and Bollie has put in well over 2000 and that doesn't count any CTTH rounds and practice rounds. Those who did not take advanyage of the 25% off sale to get any clubs they thought they might have needed only have themselves to blame.Realizing something big was going to happen when they had the 25% off closeout sale I bought the super-Tri driver and the new Master Redwood putter. I came close to not buying them but decided to go ahead and make the purchase. Boy am i glad I did. It will be months before I will be able to buy them. It was just last week that I level up enough to buy the G10 irons I already have.

Your wrong - nobody was grandfathered in. But the level system is unfair for those of us on low levels - it means we are not as competitive.

But people like AvatarLee are a different matter, he could propably shoot 27 over 9 holes using starters from the back tees.
