    Hi

I am receiving personal messages from a person that is not on my friends list, never has been and never would be. I do not know how this is possible. Also, according to my message page I was the one to have sent the first message which is absolutely not true.

I went through my activity log and there is no record of the player in question being or having say hacked into my profile page.

I replied to him / her stating I was reporting this to WGT and he/she replied challenge accepted.

The response I received from WGT is below

Thank you for contacting WGT Member Services,

Can you please try some maintenance steps to see if we can keep this issue from happening again?
Please clear your Browser(http://www.wikihow.com/Clear-Your-Browser's-Cache) ,Flash Cache. (http://www.macromedia.com/support/documentation/en/flashplayer/help/settings_manager07.html). And lastly please clear Cookies (http://www.aboutcookies.org/page-2).

After this, please follow this link instead of any bookmarks. http://www.wgt.com/home.aspx

If this does not help, please try a new browser so we can make sure it is not a browser issue.

I mean, is this answer supposed to solve the problem of a probable WGT security platform problem with maybe a hacker? Or is a web browser capable of creating a profile, sending messages to non friends and then disappear? Do cookies know how to write messages from myself to a person that is not on my friends list

Any help would be gratefully appreciated as I am almost in the situation where I need to purchase credits and feel a little bit insecure with using my credit card and filling in my CV security number on my account profile page if the possibility exists this person has access to me

    Thanks

    Oshi

So you got "one of these answers" - I never received any better :(

    My thoughts of possible cure:

    - block that player in your account, hopefully stopping his PMs,

    - change your password to a totally different one,

    - use other means of payment like gift cards or Zong for a while.

Hope you can leave it behind!
