It's been suggested many times and sadly ignored.

If I hit a ball into the lake, fair and square, I've lost it.  I'm not risking diving in to get it, and in any case the Head Greenkeeper wouldn't like it.

But to lose a ball in either thick rough or such like is a penalty too far, specially if you invest yer hard earned bucks into the game.

I've been enjoying WGT for some years, but this is a gripe that has often been moaned about and I've seen little to address it.

Be careful what you wish for!

My impression is that WGT "finds" more balls in thick rough than I do on the courses IRL.

Furtheron, I don't count the balls one by one - to me, the sleeves that I buy are an entry fee, and luckily it's my choice to spend more or less or nought. I know that WGT uses this setting for their income, so any "less penalizing" change would result in a rise at another point, e.g. with the sleeve price or by more unaccessible areas.

Last but not least, I spend my real money here to gain fun and recreation - it's not expensive IMHO!
