Does the pin placement EVER move?? I've probably played 30 rounds on 4 different courses and not one time has the pin moved. I realize that the game looks like it was created in 1997, but even my Greg Norman golf game from then moves the pin.

Also how about letting me put a ball from my bag in play after i lose or wear down my previous sleeve of balls. Now when you've used up the last ball of the sleeve, it defaults to the shitty balls. Seems like a fairly easy fix.

Odd that. I have about 10 different pin locations for each hole and can change to any ball I want at any time - must be the benefits of being a TL.

Also looking at your stats, I somehow think it would not matter where the pin is....you are not going to be close to it anyway.

PS I am in a facetious mood so will log off now.

edit - Use the search -------> and you will find out why.

It is very easy to fix. Carry more balls.

There's two pin positions per hole, and at some courses, they haven't been published yet. Keyword: HD photogaphs.

You only carry one type of balls in your bag - visits to inventory/garage not being permitted.

My 2 Pfennig: Use the "buy balls" buttons in time.

In a better mood now so a better answer :)

As pointed out, most courses have two pin positions. However as these courses are made up of hundreds of thousands of photos of the course and greens, they are somewhat limited in how many positions they have.

The earliest course Kiawah, was shot with one pin in mind, then they added a second using what they had leftover - hence why you get some appalling views of the putt.

Some say perhaps the later courses were shot with 3 placements....but if so, they have not been implemented.

To liken this to some other games is not advisable - some of those other games were far inferior in terms of realism.

As for the ball - One Ball Rule is used on here and WGT has said this is unlikely to change. Why in a practice round a ball cannot be substituted is beyond me.
